The United States shuttler had no answers to Sindhu’s aggression and control in the one-sided Round of 16 encounter. Notably, this is Sindhu’s 3rd straight win over Zhang to whom she had agonisingly lost the India Open final in 2018.Sindhu’s bid for a third straight final at BWF World Championships is alive. However, the India shuttler faces World No. 2 Tai Tzu Ying who has a superior record against her.
